BassamFellows Asymmetric Occasional Tables: Side & Coffee
Designer Craig Bassam conceived the BassamFellows Asymmetric Sofa when he began looking for a stylish, scalable sofa that would be suitable for his personal study. He wanted a piece that would harmonize two competing needs – a sofa that would work during collaborative meetings whilst being appropriate for personal contemplation. This thinking led to the creation of the Asymmetric, the quintessential landscape sofa group. The group consists of three different lengths of sofa units, a corner unit, a chaise, and an ottoman. The Asymmetric Table Collection expands the planning options with three table sizes designed to work with the sofa modules. The tables can be used as end tables, to turn a corner, between sofa sections – or simply on their own. The top is carved from solid wood with a subtle edge detail borrowed from tray tables while the carved solid wood blade-like legs give the piece muscular lightness.
